This ranking classifies the world’s best institutions in 54 academic subjects. Five indicators are analysed: four bibliometric indicators assess the quantity and quality of research and one indicator reflects prestigious awards given to the institution’s teaching and research staff.
In the 2023 edition, the UPC is ranked in twenty one of the subjects analysed; and in two of these, it is among the world’s top 100 universities.
