This ranking aims to provide an objective classification of the research results of universities worldwide. To achieve this, it assesses the scientific output of institutions, considering their productivity, impact and excellence. The indicators it uses are designed to compare quantitative and qualitative aspects, taking into account short- and long-term results.
In the 2021 edition, the UPC ranked in the 438th position, and continued to be classified in a set of subject rankings, such as Engineering, in which it ranks 1st in Spain.
