The aim of the Leiden Ranking is to provide an accurate measure of the academic impact of universities and their level of scientific collaboration, based on analysing a set of bibliometric indicators.
Although the ranking does not provide just one classification based on a composite index, the indicator P, which reflects scientific output, is the one that appears by default when you access the ranking. If we take this indicator into account, in the 2024 edition the UPC ranks 89th in the world in the field of Mathematics and Computer Science. |
